Hi! I’m Matteo — a professional surf coach based in the north of Fuerteventura, one of Europe’s top surf destinations. I’ve been surfing for over 13 years and coaching internationally for the past 5. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities — always with patience, adaptability, and a deep respect for the ocean. I hold an ISA Level 2 surf coach certification, an ISA Level 1 surf judge certificate, and I’m fully trained in First Aid and Ocean Safety. I coach both beginners and upper-intermediate surfers, and I also offer video analysis, surfskate, and surf theory classes to help you build confidence both in and out of the water. With a background as a support worker and a certified yoga teacher, I bring a mindful and holistic approach to my coaching — helping you not only improve your technique but also connect with the rhythm of the ocean and your own body. Whether you’re catching your first wave or refining your turns, I’ll tailor each session to your level, goals, and style.
